Services Manager: Clara Hernandez Homburger

The Services Manager is responsible for the efficient running, maintenance and provision of the JCR’s services and facilities. These include areas like the Junior Common Room and the Moatside Gym. They also oversee the catering aspect of college life, going to twice termly meetings with the College to give feedback and being responsible for the running of the twice weekly formals that are a central Castle tradition.

For basic maintenance issues within your accommodation (i.e. blocked showers), please fill out a Maintenance Report Form, and the issue will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Hi everyone,

I’m Clara, your Services Manager for this year! You can see my role description above, but basically, I’m the person responsible for the day-to-day running  of the services and facilities within College. If you have any issues or questions about them, get in touch with me.

I’m a half Spanish, half Brazilian PPE student and have been involved in the Ents and June Ball Committee during my time at Castle. I am also the Secretary for the new Durham University Latin American Society, so feel free to come talk to me about any of that too.
