Services Manager: Ross Windell

The Services Manager is responsible for the efficient running, maintenance and provision of the JCR’s services and facilities. These include areas like the West Courtyard, with it’s Toastie Bar, and the Moatside Gym. They also oversee the catering aspect of college life, going to twice termly meetings with the College to give feedback and being responsible for the running of the twice weekly formals that are a central Castle tradition.

Hello all, my name is Ross and I am Castle’s Services Manager for 2017-18.  I’m studying for a Masters in Physics. Within college, I have previously been involved in the Castle Technical Society, as well as rowing with University College Boat Club, and being a prolific social member of University College Tennis Club. I also help to run our open mic nights, Mundie in the Undie. Aside from arranging formals and stocking that all-important vending machine, my interests include playing guitar, skiing, climbing and sailing!
