Services Manager: Madeleine Reed
The Services Manager is responsible for the efficient running, maintenance and provision of the JCR’s services and facilities. These include areas like the Junior Common Room Lounge and the Moatside Gym. They also oversee the catering aspect of college life, going to twice termly meetings with the College to give feedback and being responsible for the running of the twice weekly formals that are a central Castle tradition.

I’m Madeleine and I will be this year’s services manager, which basically means I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the services and facilities within College. If you have any issues or questions about them, get in touch with me.
I study Economics and have been actively involved in many activities, both in Castle and the wider university. I have been a member of the Ents and the June Ball Committees, worked on the Toastie Bar, modeled in CCFS and been a part of the Panto. I played Mixed Lacrosse in first year, was University College Mixed Rounders Club President in 2018 and I have also played netball both for the college and for the university.
